On the moon
“Everything’s so gray around here.”
The Worker walked slow and bouncy, gliding through the air like a balloon. Slow motion for a temporarily lone soul. The brief journey outside of the lunar station made the Worker notice the dreamy bleakness of the surroundings. Above, the pitch-black quilt dotted by distant fireflies; the sun had just fallen beneath the hill, illuminating the...

Howl
Blackness surrounding the pale a gliding moon among the dots haze chasing the arrow a wolf running past the branches and when the hill takes shape and when your paws hold victory still
howl, cry under your distant mother’s loving gaze.

shaking a shivering body in white rooms, bright and hurting images from the past and the future speeding past my brain (a blur) another dark day in a dark world lit only by the sun of hope i will stare at the sun, waiting for a warmer day burdens tear us apart, but tomorrow will be a warmer day let us cling to hope and overcome the darkness together.

The city of the dead
stuck in traffic confined to rotten concrete and falling fields of grey look around look around hyperventilate relapse relax hyperventilate the fading joy of evening
i am here and always will be and i will grow tired and sullen of the sky and the stars shadows dwell in this place and this city will be eternal for the dead will rest forever
unrest forever unpeaceful
then finally give...

Darkest before dawn
Alone at night, when the wretched demons are stronger. Face to face with the devilish grin.
A moment, a thought, a memory, a feeling of strength and love and the monsters are already buried.
We can only reach the highest peaks after having faced the most fearsome of evils. Then, we will celebrate our victory and bask in the light of the morning as it breaks over us.

A night
Dumbstruck by the stars in our dark mazes we aspire to the warmest fire, to what lies beyond this thin transparent veil, a waterfall silently dividing
wistfully we wait to sink in the embraces, the firmament outside and its bright eyes, through dawns and sunsets, their red sprawl, quietly hiding.
Tiny sacrifices made, the distance, and the climb, as gray gives way to jade, an iridescent shine in...

Strings
A metallic chirping echoes throughout the corridor, sliding on the silver lines. Walking with an unrelenting gait, emptying the mind of the bony noisy clutter, keeping the fire well lit and alive. Not even the mass of lone souls roamed around the tunnel that night, leaving a stream of silence in their place…and even if they did, their presence would just be a black stain in the grey,...

Dimly gleaming eyes. My boney hand tastes the bitter coldness, while the fire burns red inside the shelter. (sit next to me beside the fire, we will sing songs and tell each other stories until we fall asleep in the night) (I will keep the wolves away, keep the wolves away from us)

...really?
I’m standing on the edge of a chasm 4400 miles wide, and I can feel the void stroking and chafing my clothes. The chasm looks bottomless and pitch black. I can pick out something on the far side, and it looks like some kind of heaven.
Contact.

Middle Ground
Headlights, hundreds of them, radios and engines lighting the thick air up. The sun has already retreated to its lair; bottom line: city, evening, lights and noise. The most predictable of contemporary landscapes.
No rain today, no evil in sight to paint the atmosphere of a noirish black. No such thing at all. A moderate bleakness for the mediocre busy citizen.
No known face amongst the throng....

Thank you, Steven.

Progress (pt.2)
Decided to hold off the release of the 2 EPs to flesh them out a bit more. And change the name: I’ll publish them under the name “Elevators Of The Future” very probably, since Hypnosis Quilt sounded way too lame.

First Person
He glanced at his laptop, a bright window in the shady living room. The light from the computer tried to paint all the room, failing miserably; he wanted to write a story. It was a long while since he last wrote something: his interest in writing and literature had been waning, dim in the midst of his noisy, sped-up, white life. He still glanced.
Nothing moved.
The writer turned his stare away,...

Progress
These days I’ll be completing my first two EPs under the name Hypnosis Quilt. I’m excited for this, and I feel quite satisfied too. The two EPs will be complementary, with one being on the ambient-drone side and the other more around experimental (and all kinds of) rock. I don’t know if anyone cares about this, but I thought I’d share it.
